How I found #714: I pirated software on Dalnet and my group got kicked off and moved to EFnet. I listed channels alot looking for shit and found several people in #714. Mainly, Zarkle who invited me to a party and since I had no friends just out of High School, I spent a lot of time in #714 making friends and going / throwing partys, starting shit, picking fights, fucking with 71whores.

Where I am now: I work for myself running a company called Cloud Eighty, I do side jobs to pay for my expensive living in Irvine. I'm going back to school because I have a lot of knowledge and have nothing to prove it. Plus, I like to learn new things and such as using the Fundemental Theorum of Calculus in solving how much velocity is produced by jumping a 4-foot ski ramp at a 30 degree angle and being pulled by a boat going 20 mph.

Hobbies/Activities/Other crap: I haven't touched drugs or alcohol in 3 years, but have taken up healthy addictions such as Scuba Diving, Wakeboarding, and about to join a Soccer League.

How you found #714: I went to Troy High School and happened to start hanging out with Whytea and Jednet. I had been a Dalnet kiddy for far too long and they suggested joining #714, so I did. Went to my first netmeet at skell's old apartment by Linbrook Lanes and it went on from there.

Where you are now: I'm currently taking a semester off from Cal State #714 (Fullerton). I think I'm officially a 'Senior' now with only a year or two left on my Computer Science degree. I work full-time as a Game Master at Blizzard Entertainment for World of Warcraft at the moment. No, I can't give you gold or items or free game time :P.

How I found #714: I went to high school with Pendola, and he subsequently introduced me to #714. The rest is history.

Where I am now: Moved to Las Vegas just over two years ago (was living in Pismo Beach up until then). Currently working as a Linux System Engineer for a large hosting/collocation company based out of Denver. Been married now for 13 years (to the same woman, if you can believe that). My son is now in third grade, and my daughter starts kindergarten next year.

Hobbies/Activities/Other crap: When not working, I've been slowly ressurecting some of my websites. I spend a fair amount of time playing WoW, still into cooking, and have become something of a regular fixture around the craps tables out here in LV. I still, on very rare occasions, pop into #714. I don't think there'll ever be an online community as active and as tight knit as #714 was back in the day, and that's a damn shame.

How you found #714: I met Ekay in the dorms at Cal State Fullerton. He was my next-door neighbor. I previously visited my brother on dalnet, but switched over when I discovered such a nifty local and online community of dorks.

Where you are now: I've somehow graduated CSUF with a degree in Communications-Advertising, and is now working fulltime at experian. No, I cannot get you a free credit report (but you can get a free one at annualcreditreport.com), and I cannot alter your credit report. I actually work with sales execs on the business to business side of things, conducting research and analysis that they do not have time to do. My hubby of 2 years is currently obtaining a doctorate in Economics, which is what brought us to Pullman. I quite like it here, as my brother lives in the same town. (yes, I said town, population 7k without the college students)

Hobbies/Activities/Other crap: creating this here site, making things, attempting to start up a team for Relay for Life (American Cancer Society), volunteering at the civic theatre

How I found #714: I met keiffers and ic3b3rg at school and needed something todo during Adv ComSci class. nothing like IRC to waste time!

Where you are now: I'm working for Microsoft's Corporate Security Attack and Penetration team, basically exploit and hack all day long but making things better for all of us. No I can't get you a job and I won't sell exploits so stop asking! Ethics my friends Ethics!

How you found #714: Denny and I met on the school bus in Jr. High School. We were friends for a few years, and he always talked about
IRCing, etc. and for me to come and find him under his handle elektron. LOL. After major pier pressure from ekay and acidjazz, I
joined teh evilness of #714 and was forever changed from an innocent, young school girl to an IRC chick. Also, I am the former roomate of
teh fudepen. :)

Where you are now: Living with Kyler in Huntington in a little slice of nerd heaven. :) Currently on sabaticle from #714.edu. Still IRCing,
but instead as an opper in #havok. I visit #714 rarely, but since most of the old skewlers aren't active anymore, it's not much fun.

Hobbies/Activities/Other crap: Kyler, going to the beach, IRC, Kyler, shopping, baking, doing my hair, and yet again... Kyler. And no, you
cannot have naked pics of me.
